What You Can Do While You Opt For Volunteer Travel In Costa Rica And Cambodia

When you are travelling as a volunteer Costa Rica, you can teach English in Rural schools. This will help to broaden the horizons of the rural children who otherwise suffer due to lack of proper educational facilities. You can also teach other subjects like Maths, Science and Physical Education. There is also the possibility of working on organic and sustainable farms which will provide you the opportunity to work with local farmers and reduce the use of harmful chemicals. You can contribute to the effort in conservation of sea turtles by protecting and feeding them as well as supporting their breeding efforts.

While travelling as a volunteer in Cambodia, you can work in an orphanage and enhance the lives of orphan children. According to the estimates of UNESCO there are about 100,000 orphans in Cambodia. The other option is to teach English at rural schools. Hospitals and clinics in Cambodia have a great demand of able volunteers as there is always a shortage of staff. The pandemic caused by HIV/AIDS is serious in Cambodia, and you can spread awareness among the locals. Cambodia has suffered from a violent past, mismanagement and corruption. You can work with the local NGOs to improve the living conditions there. Many NGOs in Cambodia require volunteers to help them carry out their work efficiently.
